A native of Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Mallis received his undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona. After obtaining his medical degree at Albert-Ludwigs Universitaet Medical School in Freiburg, West Germany, he completed his residency training in Pediatrics at Eastern Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
Before moving back to Arizona with his family in 1995, he spent several years in private pediatric practices in North Carolina and Kentucky.
Dr. Mallis has been practicing Pediatrics in North Scottsdale since then and opened
Grayhawk Pediatrics in November 2000 to serve the medical needs of the children in this area.
He lives in Scottsdale with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Mallis enjoys all aspects of pediatric and adolescent care, especially, taking care of newborns and assisting new parents in adjusting to their new lifestyle. Dr. Mallis is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
